That's a lot of testosterone in one area! We've noticed the bucks getting their antlers - luckily, we've been able to notice from a distance! They haven't been in our garden areas.... yet!
Aah, just sit back, enjoy breakfast and look at the view. Glad the dogs were "OFF DUTY" - I bet you'll be having one of those in your deep freeze come winter.
I like the pictures of your deer better than the one I saw the other day - just crossing 4 lanes of traffic! I was driving and staring at it in disbelief. My friend called out, "DEER!" which I am thankful for because my mind wasn't believing what my eyes were seeing! The deer made it safely across, but seemed a little bewildered just the same.

Good morning to you!

If you don't want to go out,

We have windows with views.

Seven young bucks,
the biggest on the other side of the truck

They strolled and grazed,
headed for theĀ orchard.
Farm dogs are fired!
Sleeping on duty.
They were tired from the 'possum hunt.
One last night and one this morning.
'Possums zero-farm dogs two.
Guess we'll keep the dogs.

I'd say those dogs are keepers! The deer always come back another day and maybe they will be more rested next time : )

There is nothing better than watching wildlife from the windows of your home. I would have to fire the dogs, sleeping on the job.....lol!!!!

I suppose those deer do eat their share of your garden produce. It's too bad that it isn't hunting season. Or is it?
