Apparently the photo is fake. The 'television' in the upper corner has been inserted from the original. When the photo was taken it was just some guy who stood next to a machine. Someone later picked it up online somewhere and added the storyline that this was a prediction of the size of home computers for the future...

How wrong were they?! This 'prototype' looked like a submarine simulator or something out of Flash Gordon. :P
