[Image]Manchester United won the Premiership for the first time in four years on Sunday as 10-man Chelsea, needing victory to keep the title race alive, could only draw 1-1 at Arsenal.
This would mean that Sir Alex Ferguson has won his ninth Championship trophy as Manchester United manager. Earlier today, Manchester United led the Premiership champions by eight points before the Blues kicked off in north London, with Gilberto Silva putting the home side up in the first half from the penalty spot.

Chelsea pulled a goal back, with a second-half strike from Michael Essien, but it wasn't enough to stay in the fight for the Premiership title.

United have now clinched their first Premiership title since 2003 as they have an unassailable lead of seven points games left - away to Chelsea and their last match of the season, at home to West Ham United.
