Hi, how many cones does this recipe fill please?

The number of cones depends on how much sherbet you put in each, the shape of the cone and the size. For a smaller cone you should expect to get a dozen if you pipe the marshmallow as shown. Petrina.

I'm making this at the moment. The description of the mix as thick enough to break a beater and stringy sounds way different from my normal recipe. I wonder if I should have used an American tablespoon to measure the gelatine?

All measurements at Australian/metric.

What could cause the marshmallow to not whip up enough? I heated the syrup to 245F on the thermometer, used the paddle attachment on level 8 for what felt like forever, but the marshmallow never got thick :-(

Hi Petrina,
I’m making this at the moment and my consistency isn’t thick or pipeable.
Any suggestions on how to save it? I’ve tried 1-2 tbsp of tapioca flour, but haven’t noticed too much of a change. Should I try more? From research online by consistency is similar to what normal marshmallow is supposed to be but I can’t see this piping and staying in place in the cone without just collapsing in.. please help! For my daughters birthday tomorrow! She’s so excited for them.
