I know Brangwyn's work from the war, but you are right - not from commercial posters. Did the people who commissioned his railways posters not like his work? What happened to the railway posters that he did have published?

Hels -- Not sure why. But it might have been because railroad poster fashions were changing to cleaner, simplified images and Brangwyn didn't want to follow that route (and perhaps was busy with other work).
