Don't forget the Cessna light observation craft--designated the O-2--that flew thousands of forward air spotter missions in SEA. It had a pusher and a puller prop, centerline mounted.

Gary -- To simplify things, I chose to leave out pushme-pullme type aircraft.

Besides the O-2 I might have included the Fokker XXIII from the late 30s and the Dornier Do 335 from the final months of World War 2.
