I keep a list of the books I read, and I rate them on a scale of 1-10. I have both ones and tens, so it's a valid scale, I don't just hover in the middle. But there's a disturbing trend over the last six years. Yep...my average rating for the year is going down. I'm worried this means I'm getting more jaded - not that I'm just reading more crap.

See. Down almost a full point, even though I have more 10's and fewer 1's than before. And I'm thinking, I'm like that old guy on the porch, starting to hate all the kids, but in more of a reader-author related way.
