I heard a rumor that scooter was stranded in the middle of a cornfield with nothing more than a bicyle with a broken spoke, popped tire and no supplies....
If I was in the middle of a cornfield, I would be going to the bathroom, as this seems to be the norm. You just leave your bike in the ditch and find a depth that hides you appropriately. Then 5 miles later, someone tries to sell you "sweet corn". Nasty.
