uh huh..you ruin my reputation by only picking memes from my blog! How come you ignored this small-time consumer rights and other rights activist in India. Go search my blog for activism before word about my memes goes out. :)

And this was one of the most irreverent memes I have ever read. Wonder what Minnie Driver and Nigella would think after reading! :0

And by the way, I am a she :)

Poonam - I'm a pretty consistent donor to Vibha, although I haven't mentioned them since my friend Nidhi left in 2005. And there are some people in Bangladesh who have a fridge and meeting hall I donated to, so I've got no issues with giving a shout out to Indian (and SE Asia) activism. Some of my favorite people were born in that area. However, the meme was what caught my eye, and now, with the intersection of the table meme and Indian activism, you simply have me thinking about the movie The Five Obstructions.

And I appreciate the label "irreverent" - that is so much nicer than "rude". I'm going to claim it as one of the adjectives that best describes me. My friend Erik noted it was pretty much dead on.

LissyJo. Are you sure it wasn't YOUR table?

I could not have said "rude" because you were not, you were incorrigibly irreverent. :)

I had to google The Five Obstructions, it seems to be a movie about film-making. I am quite interested in that, I will try to rent it out and watch. But what I could not understand is why the conversation reminded you of this movie?

And I am glad to know that you appreciate SE activism, but I was only kidding about spoiling my reputation. :) yes, I am activist at heart but my contribution so far is like a drop in ocean. :(
