I had to add some engine coolant to my Saturn yesterday as I'm finally sneaking up on the 100,000 mile mark after 7 years. My book assures me that it's 5 years or 100,000 miles until I need to flush it. The coolant manufacturer assures me 7 years or 150,000 miles. Regardless, I haven't really looked at the owner's manual in quite some time, so I'd forgotten I'd written down my original gas purchases as a way to make sure the milage was up to spec. 99 cents when it should have been 88 cents - the outrage!
