CTH is on to something here but it is curious for them to link to the source for the black mom picture but not the doctored photo in question. Comments point to it possibly being a screen grab from a video - presumably a CNN video- and that's fine but I would think linking to it is wise. Maybe not doing so is a kind of baiting, and that turnabout is absolutely fair play in this day and age but truth is strong enough to stand on its own.
I am glad you posted this today Mike, if for no other reason than to help keep this whole story from being swept under the rug. The attempt to bury this one entirely is in full swing. No, not just the whitening, the entire event!! Of course, it won't matter really, as more of these cretins will do similar things as time passes. That ball is already rolling.

Furthermore, that was just one weekend. The Chicago Tribune indicated that every weekend, shootings are in the double digits.

I'm with the first poster. We've seen accusations that CNN changed the photo...but I've yet to see a link to CNN's website or a YouTubed broadcast of CNN's in which this photo was shown.
Now, don't get me wrong, I believe CNN is capable of this sort of thing, given the MSM's crucifixion of George Zimmerman, the altering of photos and audio.....but where is the proof in this instance? Imagine if this is a hoax by someone on the left crafted to make gun rights supports all look like racists?
I'm urging caution before widely disseminating this as truth.

This fake is a fake. Oh, I wouldn't put such a thing past that enemy in our midst, otherwise known as The Media, but for the sake of credibility there should be proof. Proof should be easy to produce, if the image indeed came from a CNN broadcast as is alleged. The fact that it is not forthcoming, despite multiple commenters at the Treehouse site asking about it, means it's bogus.
"In the Soviet Union, they'd just photo retouch the image of the purged party official out of the group portrait. Knowing they can't get away with such crudities today, CNN has done the Communists one better."
