Special effects master Ray Harryhausen passed away on May 7, 2013.
His incredible stop-motion animation battle that pitted Sinbad & crew against a six-sworded Kali idol remains an unsettling thing to behold.

Last time I checked Kali didn't show much discretion about whom she destroyed - demons, gods, humans - they are all the same to Kali. And she is the patron of the Thuggee murder cult.
I think tis fitting, isn't nyc the city with the most abortions?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with this planet's ecology that couldn't be solved by the elimination of 99% of the human population, right? That sure seems to be the end goal of Progressivism.
Just FYI, the Thuggee connection to Kali is not in accordance with the Puranas. It is an invention by the Thuggees themselves. Kali's purpose was to combat "demons" (actually Asuras) that the other Hindu Gods were unable to defeat. The dichotomy between the Gods and the Asuras is similar to that between the Aesir and the Vanir in Norse Mythology; in Hinduism, the Gods are Lawful, while the Asuras were more Chaotic, though not necessarily evil. Granted, this is a huge oversimplification.

Goddess Kali projected on New York's Empire State Building
Artist Andrew Jones designed the portrait of the goddess to make the point that Mother Nature now more than ever needs a fierce avatar to fight the dangers of pollution and extinction, Firstpost.com reported.
In case you were wondering about Kali, the Indian murder cult, the Thuggees, considered themselves children of Kali.
"Goddess of Death takes over Gotham City. Somehow, given today's American death cult called Planned Parenthood, it seems appropriate, don't you think?"

Being a destroyer of demons makes one a murderer?
Interesting.
