Sounds like biology and human nature need to check their privileges.

Like Frank Zappa's lyrics: "Do you know what you are - you are what you is - you is what you am - a cow don't make ham"...This virtual reality crap has gotten people to actually believe they are superheros.

I was in Ethiopia during the civil war there and watched women pick up wounded fighters, throw them on a homemade stretcher, then 4 women would lift the gurney onto their shoulders and run 20 miles or so back to the aid station, drop of the wounded, load 100's of pounds of ammo, food and water back onto the gurney then run back to the fighting. A round trip would take about 8 hours. This wasent over a nice smooth level road either. It was mountainous with elevation changes of 3-4000 ft at altitudes up to 15000 ft. I don't know why these women washed out but I don't think it was due to their gender.

Bully to them (and to all) who try.
To Fail and pick oneself up, is the road to success.

Your average Ethiopian male weighs alot less than your average American male. It's all the food, see?

Hi, Michael.

Agreed. I was going to participate in a SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape) exercise with some men last summer. I decided against it when it became clear to me that I would just slow the men down.

The feminists, one of which I am not, don't like to acknowledge the obvious physical differences between men and women; or, the psychological differences in how our brains are wired. But, like it or not, generally speaking, there are just some things men are better at than women and some things women are better at than men.

This truth is only inconvenient to those who cannot accept it.

When they come for me, I'll put up the best fight I'm able with a lot of help from my firearms, but the truth is that I'll perish because I'll be grotesquely outnumbered and I'll be fighting men, who also happen to be statists.

I think I'm a woman with a warrior's heart if that's possible.

Love ya!

Lisa

Lisa thank you for your honesty. On the SERE trek I was teamed with another man and a woman. Before long, we were taking turns carying her pack in addition to our own. Not her fault, its just genetics. I wouldnt have minded being a pro basketball player but genetics made that impossible too. It is what it is. When women try too hard to be men it actually seems to me to take for granted the incredible qualities women have that improve mankind. I believe society functions best when women are the best women they can be and men are the best men they can be. We are all " fearfully and wonderfully made. "

I had a female SFC as a Platoon Sergeant in my first unit. She was a former instructer at the Air Assault School and could PT anyone of us until our manhood dragged the dirt. Tough as nails does not describe her sufficiently. She eventually left, like many good NCOs, because they would not promote her. I would hazard a guess that with the draw down squeezing out anyone not willing to toe the line (of which I was one), her contemporaries have left for less PC pastures. What we are left with is a pool of candidates that look great in paper but lack the grit.

One final takeaway. Recently, a video was passed around on social media wherein a female medical Captain struggled to finish the required 12 mile ruck march to complete the Expert Medic Badge requirement. It was deemed newsworthy that this woman could complete a road march. It is a Soldier skill. If you cannot move yourself and a load across a reasonable distance in a resonable time, you need to find other employment. We really need to stop celebrating mediocrity. Women going to Ranger School is exceptional but no more than any other male going to Ranger School.

Women can contribute in ways that men are not as well suited for. There's a reason why honey traps are still one of the most successful HUMINT ops out there.
