I know Christian Arab immigrants from Bethleham. They are put upon by both Arab Muslims and Israeli Jews. Including the Israeli government. Does the author mention any of this?
The persecution Christians suffer under Israeli rule is not unusually worse than the persecution Christians suffer at the hand of government here in the land of the free. Unacceptable, no doubt (at least I do not accept it), but not to be compared with the persecution they suffer in Islamic nations.
