I don't think they will ever give a clear point at which you can decide to fight back. It will be extreme incrementalism--- taxes on ammunition, more sales regulations for firearms, needing ID to buy ammo which will be recorded, tracking credit cards used in gun, ammo and accessories sales, etc.

I think they're going to try and make it practically impossible to own firearms while never giving an excuse to respond.

Where is the one in the sand then?

Apologies if you've answered already, I'm a new reader.

http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/opinion/2009/0831/1224253509841.html

The IRA held over 6,000 British Troops in stalemate with less than 1,000 active.

In south Armagh, the IRA accounted for over 1,000 British Soldiers killed with around 12 of their own lost.

I'm a Brit, not national socialist shinner scum.

I have no sympathy with the shinners, but their kill rate should be deterrant enough for anyone thinking they can fight a clean and quick war against a popular geurilla force.

What the anti gun elite have not realized yet is that the bulk of the armed forces come from the communities most likely to be "clinging to their guns"

How many of their ruperts do they expect to take bullets in their backs, if they are stupid enough to go for actions like Simpson's imaginary plan?

How many local cops will allow black and tans to be billited in their accomodation, to attack their citizens?

It says the operating system is Windows XP. If you really wanted to piss 'em off, you could post .docx files and they couldn't read them. Hahaha.

I agree with Jesse. We need allies. I will be part of the 10% and I don't believe it will be less than 10%. Some of us are fanatics and I wear that badge with pride.

Bring on the sweeps. I could use the practice.

I am a Historian. A guerilla war against the American people would be suicide.

Like you pointed out Mike, the difference is determination. I will fight for the freedom of my family for generations to come. They will be fighting for paychecks. History has proven that a determined majority can win. Cold dead hands here, as well as the rest of my family.

Heh, at least your fan club is on this side of the Atlantic. I had some visitors to my blog from Britain, one from PNN.police.uk in Bletchley, Essex, after I posted an update on Phillip Luty (in jail, being held on "terrorism" secret charges after his book on homemade firearms was found in a suspect's home).

Hmmm. My site had one of those visits last month as well and compared to Mike V, I'm as gentle as a lamb. I had a visit from the House Master at Arms as well.

Guess us bloggers are being looked over.

I have seen an American general and his officers, without pay, and almost without clothes, living on roots and drinking water; and all for LIBERTY! What chance have we against such men! -- young British officer to Colonel Watson describing the American militia rebels in Georgetown, SC [Source: 'Marion, The Life of Gen. Francis Marion' by M. L. Weems, Ch.18]

As has been said, "we will kill all they send until they quit coming."

A ping on a free speech blog that does not break any laws is far less an attack than the cameras that are at most every intersection recording and watching all traffic in every direction.
Nevertheless, compounded this is clearly a government that is outside of the mainstream of the people. Who would ever have believed that one day in American people who supported the United States Constitution, believed that abortion was wrong, didn't want to pay hard earned taxed money to support illegals, and other full blown anti-American crap that was wrong would be seen in the eye's of government as terrorizers who need to be put in FEMA camps. LOL! You can't make this stuff up as to how out of control things have become.
Right now in America its like sitting on a bench in front of a store waiting for the bus to come. As one sits there they see some very old person with the big wrap around sunglasses trying to back out into very heavy traffic.
btw/ on FEMA camps and Glenn Beck. I call that POS "thunder stealer" he takes real issues that are huge and discounts them to led the sheep to the slaughter.

Just reread "Atlas Shrugged" this summer, and am only a little surprised by the similarity to what is happening in the U.S.A. today. And if you can find it (I have not been able to get a copy) the TV movie 'Shadow on the Land' from 1968 is worth a look. Based on the C.S. Lewis book "It Can't Happen Here", it is a rather scary picture of what the lefties and fascists are trying to make our fine country look like. Maybe I'll just buy the dang book!

In the movie "Seven Days in May" it was the military trying to take over from the civilian government and they were stopped by a military office upholding the oath of office. In "Red Dawn" the first thing gone after was the weapons files to remove weapons from the populace.

The first "battle" of the Revolutionary war was at Lexington and Concord. It was over GUN CONTROL (Gen Gage was trying to confiscate the local milita's powder and shot). And the "person" who wants to through away the Constitution (2nd and 4th amendments) with confiscation of weapons (2nd) and complete searches (4th)is totally violating the same Constitution that the took an oath to uphold and/or was lieing when they took the oath. Amendments checked from: http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/bill_of_rights_transcript.html .
Then, in my personal opinion, this is an abrogation of the contract that the signers of the Constitution forged between the people of the United States of America and the government. In contract law, I am not a lawyer) if one side abrogates the contract, then the contract is null and void. (Lawyers please correct me on this if I am wrong).

Another book for your educational reading is a bit dated however you will be surprised by it's insights and the remediation is interesting.

It is "The secret freedom fighter". If nothing else, it's available as a .pdf on the web as are many others. Paladin press owns the rights and should be supported with your business. Don't worry about compromising yourself, they already know who you are.

The hits you've been receiving are for intimidation and/or provocation purposes, otherwise you wouldn't know they had been to your site. They want you to know they were there and that is a purposeful act.

Considering the foregoing, I have never been more concerned for my country and her people, most of whom do not realize that there is a problem and believe most everything which they are presented with as news, which is also quite purposeful.

First they murder the truth and replace it with their version/s. I didn't want to believe it was happening but I'm not blind or deaf and have way too much experience to overlook the evidence. Try to remember that many whom you will deal with know only the lies they've been told and have known nothing else.

Correction for Anonymous at September 10, 2009 8:31 AM:

The novel It Can't Happen Here is by Sinclair Lewis, not Clive Staples Lewis.

I've been looking for a DVD of that movie for years...
