“I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.” ― Robert McCloskey

And so it inevitably will go with the weaponization of any idea.

Just ask Paul "Muad'dib" Atreides.

Some of the first to take on Leviathan will be the loosest of cannons, the least tightly wrapped, the outliers that no one even knows exist.

Just ask Paul "Muad'dib" Atreides.

Yeah, might be a false flag with the idea to start a civil war, might be bubbas on meth, might be part of their scripted training. Either way retarded. Reminds me of stories about the sas dressing native and shooting up Iraqis, when they got caught and id'd the brits sent a tank in to smash the police station wall and get their men back. One can easily imagine fedz attacking fedz to blame on patriots.

Uh, please enlighten - shots fired in the vicinity of? What law was broken? What/who was shot?

Seems this may be battlespace preperation - now that the OMG sight of a firearm is verboten, even the sound of one may not be permitted.

Officials say they have arrested the man they believe was making the sounds soldiers at Mississippi's Camp Shelby reported as gunshots Tuesday and Wednesday.

However, Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith says Alfred Baria, 61, claims he can make his maroon Isuzu pickup backfire on command. Smith says officials are still questioning Baria about those claims and won't say whether authorities believe Baria was firing a gun or just backfiring.

Either way, Baria has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of disturbing the peace related to the noises. After authorities searched his house and found a rifle and a pistol, he was also charged as a felon illegally possessing guns. Smith says Baria was previously convicted on drug charges.

A while back local cops shot up a car after what they thought was shots fired.
Turns out it was an engine back firing.
Moral? Keep your vehicle in good running order.
Cause the penalty is always death.
