People ARE oblivious to this monster waiting for them, and when you try and explain to them the danger, their eyes glaze over. Why? The same way their predecessors in New York were shocked after years of warning when those planes slammed into the World Trade Center.They simply cannot believe such a thing will ever happen, even when they're told it will. Cognitive dissonance. Yes, I see the threat, no I will not do anything about it, because it doesn't fit my current reality.

At least I've gotten my family to appreciate the lasting intrinsic value of gold and silver, which is readily available.
