I love the sheriff's apology. I probably would have issued one like that if I were in his shoes.
Basically, it translates to: "I'm sorry I loaned inmates to a bunch of idiots."

One thing for sure, whatever inbred numbnuts put the inmates to moving the drugs is in absolutely NO danger of getting their head sunburned. Where that boy keeps his head no sun ever shines.
If that is the caliber of people on the task force, it's a wonder they had any contraband to move in the first place. Must be the "blind squirrel" or the "stopped clock" principle at work.
