"Hey, I got it! Why don't we just show up five minutes late and avenge their deaths?"

Best laugh I've had all day!

This guy is a douche. He's the one hoping for a race riot, not the other way around.

I doubt that he will ever get it. He sees the same evidence as the rest of us, but his narrow world view can't allow him to come to rational conclusions. He, and those like him, are driving us to their greatest fear, armed conflict. Ironic, that their ignorance and fear doom all of us to that fate.

Yeah, he'd better get a gun.

They are clearly afraid. I am somewhat surprised at the tenacity of the rhetoric.

I suspect they are close to triggering some operation.

"Ed Menken is a life-long, self-described 'unapologetic progressive', a proud member of the ACLU, and a strong supporter of Barack Obama."

And completely unhinged.

I wonder what he was doing when Bill Ayers was bombing the Pentagon? I wonder if he missed the street violence of Chicago in '68 or even the street violence in LA after Watts, Rodney King, OJ Simpson's trial or the latest Lakers victory. Maybe his history class skipped the American Revolution or the French one same time period. Maybe he missed the downfall of the Tsar and the Shah both. Maybe he's just stupid.

Or he likes the passive role in a B&D scenario.

The dude is seriously delusional and needs to go back on the thorazine drip. He can't separate Odama's color from his policy. I can. The South and the US have both progressed past the 'racism' and bigotry of their parents and/or grandparents. This idiot needs to get out of the ivory tower and go to a mall in the South and see the # of blacks dating/married to whites and no one even cares. People don't even raise an eyebrow. We are moving towards a 'content of character not color of skin' society, if these idiots would just shut-up.

I am sure that any provocative violence will be government-initiated. This idiot sounds like Charles Manson with his delusional "race war."

Unfortunately for me, I have had a few racist thoughts in my life --- but this Sipsey St. website and a Christian church have gone a long way toward alleviating said thought.

My personal code is to be rational and responsible.

Geez, they sure get snotty when they can't have their own way, and have all the sheeple fall into line like good little ponies.

To borrow a phrase from F. Paul Wilson, he's bug-fuck nuts.

I wasn't at the DC rally, but I've been going through pictures, foreground and background, but couldn't find a single instance of a Confederate flag as this head case claims. Did anyone happen to see any? And does it matter? I've met blacks who displayed battle flags because they understood the states' rights argument was not really about slavery.

And the only "Nazi" imagery I could find was associatedn with Obama and Co.; to this day, these idiots still can't wrap their minds around the fact we aren't socialists.

It may be a tactical advantage that the opposition suffers a debilitating and irrational phobia, and complete dissociation from reality. They don't know us, can't understand us, and can't cope with us.

Unfortunately, when animals become this terrified, they sometimes do dangerous things.

All these comments have one thing in common - they assume that Mr Menken believes what he says, that he is merely 'delusional' or 'misinformed'.

The truth of the matter is, Mr Menken is a paid propagandist. He is doing his job, which is to 1)Drum up support for the continued destruction of patriotic Americans, and 2)infuriate patriotic Americans (an enraged opponent is more easily manipulated).

It is about time we realise that these communist pundits are nothing more, nothing less than paid enemy propagandists. Getting upset at what MR Menken says would be akin to getting upset at something Goebbels said.

He's not 'terrified', he's not a victim of a 'narrow world view' that prevents him from coming to 'rational conclusions'.

He's a propagandist, period, end of story.

We should treat him as such - ie, review his pablum solely to keep an eye on enemy propaganda, for cues as to what the agenda is (behind the scenes).

That rant was so goofy I couldn't even finish it. They are creating a self fulfilling prophesy and have no clue. Leftist hatred is never a pretty thing. But hey! Their progressive and open minded!!

I didn't see a single Confederate flag when I was in DC on 9-12. In fact, most of the people that I met were from IN or MA, outside of the 3% and Oath Keepers. And where where the KKK hats? I must have missed those as well.

I was reading this, all the while thinking of the reporter from the movie "V for Vendetta"...

I could see the spittle spewing from his deranged grimace in my minds eye, teeth flashing with tenacity and fervor, all the while pounding his fist like... like... well, like Adolph Hitler.

Well done Ed Menken, Well done. You've proven our point without having us do it for you.

Hey Ed:
The Great American experiment did not originally include progressiveism. So you are the kook, not us. This article pretty much proves it.

Ed, it was a long time ago. A very long time ago. Time to move on, old timer. Just do as the Government Health Advisory Board tells you and keep moving towards the bright tunnel of light.

Anonymous,

I didn't see any confederate flags, either, but several state flags have a St. Andrew cross in their design, and I did see plenty of Florida flags there. Not the Stars and Bars, but it wouldn't surprise me that this horse's ass can't tell the difference.
