I dont know how far off base I am here but tell me what you think...
I think Obama is the number one man in this smuggling case for this reason : He HATES this Country,he was raised to Hate America. I think he is arming the Cartels to create total havoc before the next election. That way, he can suspend the Constitution, postpone the Election and Remain in Power. For some reason I keep hearing Emanuel saying "Dont let a good crisis go to waste".
Maybe I'm way off base, but I think I'm closer than some think.

Watch your six with CUATF people.

They are not benign.

One of them claimed to sort of agree with my comments there and trolled me a bit and I noticed it. The other day he started semi-benignly typing things about NFA.

At the end of the day, agency capture usually rules and I bet a BUNCH of this is just people jockeying for position in the agency. They still don't care about us "unwashed masses".

If, after you post this, the numbnuts backs off, I will know I made the right call.

Thanks in advance.

There is a very courageous man, people. He does the right thing regardless of the personal cost. I can only hope he has his family hidden away somewhere. And I hope he doesn't become THIS administration's Vince Foster.

Patriot of past has a point.

States like Masshole are always bitching about other states' "lax" gun laws fuelling their crime problems.

I'll be interested to see the results of Mike's request for info on dealerships around the rest of the country being told to let dodgy looking sales go through.

It isn't beyond imagination for this not to have been the first, nor the only incidence of this kind of policy.

let's face it, the left's morals consist of:

"by whatever means necessary" and

"the end justifies the means".

hence the 200 million or so in government dug mass graves from the 20th century.

John Dodson, I salute you, sir.--MVB

Mike, many months ago (when you first proposed your "gambit"), I opined there were still a few good men left within the ATF's ranks.

John Dodson is confirmation of that assessment.

Don't discount the fact that their numbers are few; it only matters that they chose aright.

Remember, we ourselves are only 3%, yet it may still prove to be enough. :^)

I also would like to thank Agent Dodson for his bravery in honoring his oath of office when so many OTHERS in "Law Enforcement" spit on it. THANK YOU, SIR! And may you prevail in spite of the "Leadership" and your peers who will do their best to destroy you and yours.

God Bless John Dodson. He is a patriot something I'd not normally say about an ATF agent.

Let's not forget something here.

Although Dodson, et. al. are courageous in whistleblowing, a fact remains that prevents me from respecting any of them.

These same people would gladly put you behind bars for having a shotgun 1/4" too short, or for having a weapon that has been deemed evil and scary. After all, that's their job. The ATF exists to ensure that the government retains its monopoly on violence.

Although they came forward here, and that may help our cause in the short term, they are not the good guys.

I don't think anyone making his or her living working for an agency that primarily exists to ensure the state retains a monopoly on violence could properly be called a "patriot".

I'm sure many disagree, but this is my $.02.

Agent Dodson should be given Big Sis Janet's position and pension. Janet the Second should be put in a Russian gulag in Siberia.

I'm not sure how many of you remember the name "Frank Serpico". A man who stood up because it needed doing.

John Dodson very well may go down in history as this ages' Serpico. Another man who stood up and stepped forward because it needed doing.

Another man died in San Antonio, Texas on this date in 1836 because he believed that a man must figure out what's right and then go ahead.

It's encouraging that real Americans still have the intestinal fortitude to say, "HELL no!" and do the right thing.

Mike, Threepers and Friends -

We must ALL be praying for Agent John Dodson and all whistle blowers as well as Mike and David Codrea
and all their families.
May the Lord God Almighty give all of them the protection needed beyond what any man may provide.
I think we are dealing with evil beyond our understanding.... "they" will stop at nothing to get even for this exposure of their vial corruption.

To Arctic Patriot:

You're right...."patriot" was the wrong word on my part. I still pray God bless him for what he's done.

I can empathize doing the right thing in the face of knowing you're ending your career.....I was laid off recently for exposing dumping of hazardous waste in the local water supply and exposing employees to hazardous chemicals without appropriate personal protective equipment.

I let my ability to relate get the better of my senses...for that, I apologize and I thank you for pointing it out.

You are correct....this man has been enforcing clearly unConstitutional gun control in the form of NFA, GC of 68, etc.....he's not a patriot now, unless he has realized the error of his ways and is seeking to either change the ATF from the inside or seeking different employment. I don't know his personal situation and it was wrong of me to jump to any conclusion.

I do publicly thank him for coming forward.... without him, Project Gun Runner would still be hidden from public view.

My apologies to all for my poor choice of word.
