"Demand all you want, Chuckie. Considering the weapon was stolen in a burglary of a dealer, I guess that means you want to shut down all dealers, right?"

While it is regrettable that this officer was murdered by a convicted felon/street thug, there is a lesson here. The first rule of a gunfight is: HAVE A GUN. This looks like a Taurus model 85 .38 special. Not something that I would choose to carry, but it did the job. As a former police officer and NRA-certified pistol instructor, I can say from experience that the firearm(s) you train with and maintain, are the ones which will serve you well.
Nothing used to irritate me more when I would read the gun magazines than some article about some tricked-out forty-five caliber "operators special" with all the bells and whistles for only a measly $2K. A teenager with a 10-22, a butler creek hi-cap mag, and the will to use it, could really have played hell in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon False Flag when the Weight Watchers Swat Teams were going door-to-door to "find" the other brother.

Using the same logic, disarm the police. Guns are stolen from them and then may be used in violent crime:

Cursed With Failing Federal Security, Smart Gun Owners Are Upgrading Their Concealed Carry.

I’ve talked to a number of gun owners in recent months who have told me that they are upgrading their choice of “everyday carry” (EDC) firearms as a result of the failure of the Obama Administration to even put up an appearance of attempting to stop terrorist and criminal threats.

I’ve chosen to join them.

Here's a "gun control" law that Chuckie "Da Weasel" Schumer could propose that I would support.

Make it a capital federal crime to steal any firearm from anyone anywhere in U. S. jurisdiction.

Not gonna happen but if it did it would put a serious crimp in his "Iron Pipeline".

@ Ed just FYI, the guns aren't really "stolen" they are just reported stolen so they can be sold at market.

Do you have any first hand knowledge of these "non-stolen" stolen police weapons or can I safely guess that this is conjecture on your part?
