In most localities law enforcement already defers to any sort of FLEA without any consideration of that agent's actual jurisdiction. The public school system has been so successful in indoctrinating our children that federal authority is supreme that few LEOs or other elements of the "justice" system would think of NOT deferring to anyone from the federal government. For most such an act would be starkly inconceivable. In many ways, what Sharpton is calling for is already an accomplished fact. At the very least it is present in embryonic form and needs only formal legislation to make it a legal reality. I very much doubt that most would balk were a bill introduced to formally create a national police force and integrate all existing state and local law enforcement agencies into the new entity. I also very much doubt that the media would air any dissent aside from castigating such dissenters as extreme right-wing wackos.
