Yes, I read an article stating they have given up on the "major climate change reform bill" however they are going to try and push a less 'aggressive' bill. Bet that one will be worse since they are building it up as less aggressive.

The Second Amendment Foundation report from the UN concerns me more.

If the progressives fail to ignite the powderkeg they have been working on for roughly the past century then that treaty will likely do it.

Glenn Beck today asked "When does it become a dictatorship?", remarking that Obama now controls 70% of the U.S. economy through his financial reform and health care "czars." They don't need to go to Congress and ASK for anything.
Then when you consider the support on the Left IN Congress, and how even the "opposition" votes fall short because of RINOs, things look bleak.

It won't be a march on Washington with a million citizens [though it might help] it will be the 49% of the people to fail to comply. I know, wishful thinking. But 3% of that number will work. They [the world] cannot ignore it, the MSM cannot, which will increase the percentages as the populace wakes up and begins the protest.
The Republic will not roll over. It will do as it has always done. Fight.

So, Republicans may take over... whoopdeedoooo. They will take over the power built by the Demoncrats and then.... what?

I HOPE for a rational return to constitutionality, but I fear they will be co-opted by the temptation to use that power for themselves.

‘Universal National Service Act’.

WTF? Is this not slavery? It this not an act of war against the people? Is this not an intolerable act?

I will resist this with force if passed into law. This will be my line. For my wife, for my children, for my posterity. Enough is enough.

Mike, you should do a post on this. Word needs to get out before this is snuck through.

Justin, that sounds a lot like the selective service we already have today. It also includes some amendments to selective service. It is slavery, yes, and it has been in place for a long time and not to many have protested unfortunately.

Even if all of the traitors are voted out in November (remember Diebold, kiddies?) these sleezeballs will do their best to pass the most laws that will take away as much of our dwindling freedoms as possible, until they are finally ousted from office in January.

Off with their heads.....NOW!!

We will not disarm.

You cannot convince us.

You cannot intimidate us.

You can try to kill us, if you think you can.

But remember, we’ll shoot back .

We are not going away.

We are not backing up another inch.

And there are THREE MILLION OF US.

Dinosaurs, make way for the mammals. Your world is done. Go ahead and spend the last few dollars from your social security disability check on army ammo pouches and the like; knock yourself out. The world is going to move on without you. In five years, no one will even remember that your blog existed. You are fossils.

Interesting. Charles Rangel introduced this at about the same time he was indicted on ethics violations. Have you heard about that, or is it all Mel Gibson all the time?
Another direct violation of the Bill of Rights. No involuntary servitude except for convicted felons and traitors.
Another last line in the sand. My son and daughter and granddaughter and nieces fall in that age range, or will. I won't decide FOR them, but if they decline, Uncle Slam will have to go through me to get them. It will be MOST unpleasant.
Obviously, the Harry and Nancy piece is 100% correct. They no longer fear consequences.

No cosponsors, that's encouraging. Hopefully, Rangel will be canned in his trail.

Anyone who counts on Rs to rescue us from Ds (or vice versa) either needs to get OFF the drugs, or ON them.

In November, vote 3rd-party or stay home. Any other course of action means you'll be disappointed by February.
