Requiring a permit is essentially the government’s taking away your right and then forcing you to purchase it back. Yet Americans accept this “in the public interest.”
Governments always use altruistic code words to get the people to surrender their rights.

Loog Moog - I figured out who/what jayinslee was when his 'party' set him up in a law 'practice' in Othello WA about 20 yrs ago. He toed the party line regardless of what we (the residents of the legislative district) wanted. He lasted precisely ONE term. Of course his 'party' couldn't waste such a 'valuable' asset so they moved him to a district north of Seattle and pulled the same dodge. He lasted quite a while over there before they moved him up............. PS: in case you or anyone need to know which party it was you get 3 guesses and the first two don't count.........
