Sensationalist title and creepy music added to a whole lot of Boston Dynamics PR videos. None of those robots are news, most are years old.
So far, they are coming close to a robot that might be useful as a pack-bot in rough terrain, but stealthy they are not.
Some wag recently suggested that a robot that would mow your lawn and deter burglars would be a good product -- but I must point out that a cranky goat is probably lower maintenance and cheaper. Still, a Boston Dyamics SPOT robot with a weed whacker mounted on it could be a decent robo-goat.
BTW -- Boston Dynamics has been owned by Google for a couple of years now, at least.
