Thank God for the U.S. Marines, and holding true so far to their traditions and standards. I have no problem with a female in the IOC, as long as she makes it through the course as it stands. We see what the lowering of standards have brought us in the rest of society and the military.
That said, it will just be a matter of time before pressure is brought to bear by external forces on the upper echelon in the Marines, and the course is changed so females can pass it.
Just like Col. Jessup implies in "A Few Good Men", this will probably result in future dead Marines.

This should teach the General Staff to first lower the standards. Damn PC GOs, that was a no-brainer!

The trick is how do they lower the standards so that some women can pass, without allowing more men to pass the course at the same time?
