During my time in the Army (which began under Reagan and ended under Clinton), I never-- not once-- got "official" training on the content and meaning of the Constitution...not even an ACLU/SPLC-perverted version.

As an NCO I submitted and was denied, a low-density training plan for precisely that subject.

This is something we must rectify.

First, we have to WIN.

During my 25 years in the Army, I had training that taught me to question orders that caused me concern. Three times in my career, I refused to obey orders that I knew were illegal or un-Constitutional. If you are concerned, ask them to put the orders in writing. If they refuse, so should you. I was never punished for any of my refusals because my superiors knew they were wrong and weren't willing to take a chance of being caught.

Sounds like you might have been speaking with a real live Oathkeeper.

It will be interesting to see how his career progresses.

This was one of the primary goals of the original Oath Keepers when it was formed in March of 2009.

Somehow the efforts have morphed into something else and the educational aspect has gotten short shrift.

Back in the beginning We sought to "Reach, Teach and Inspire" the currently serving military and the civilian Peace Officers.
Basically anyone who had taken the Oath to support and defend the Constitution.

I sure do hope that we can R,T&I the current military before it comes to illegal orders and the uglyness that would bring about in the streets of Our Country.

For Liberty stay safe,
