If you had all the parts on hand, including enough brake fluid to bleed the entire system (almost all brake systems need fresh fluid every two years), it should take you no more than six hours tops, allowing for being slow and methodical.
The great thing about my BMW's, I have five with 2000 being the newest, is that the brake systems are virtually identical for them all; that's from 1972, 1987, 1990, 1998, and 2000.
Japanese cars, I don't know.

Rosey's Camry, our only working transportation, needs some new brakes badly so a friend of mine and I are going to crawl underneath to attend to it. Don't know how long that will take so don't hold your breath on more posts today. Sorry.
