Yep ....but what Im really supposed to be worried about is dead refugees washing up on the shore of Turkey vs. the fact that ISIS crucifies people, throws them off roofs, lines them up in trenches and shoots them, and has created the refugee problem in turn causing the bodies to wash up on shore....But Nooooooooo...we dont have the ability to "fight" ISIS, or provide any effective support for those that are actually fighting ISIS

I live in a bizarre world....

It's easy to fall for the trap of accepting the guilt of dc criminalities as our own. Dc represents conservative Americans like a federal reserve note represents constitutional money.

It turns out that even Australia isn't making their refugee policy work, there was never any chance it was going to work for Europe.

What should have been done, if anyone had the moral strength to do it, was conduct the refugees to sex and age segregated work camps to demonstrate their capacity to accept, adapt and contribute to the societies they were seeking to enter. Those who proved capable of nothing better than hard labor under constant guard should do it as long as they preferred it to being deported, those who proved capable of economic independence as a law-abiding citizen of a European nation in need of immigration could be released to the legal immigration process of that nation. Very young (pre-puberty) children could be released to their genetic parents who had left the camps one way or another.

It's true that brute force labor isn't very useful to a developed economy, but it's a much better way of getting immigrants to reconsider than letting their corpses wash up on Mediterranean beaches. Particularly since it's mostly Europeans who are doing the reconsidering. It's also true that "labor camps" would be a hard sell for European sensitivities. But the alternative is establishing complete freedom to bear arms and the culture to utilize them for effective self-defense, and that'd be quite the stretch for Europe.

Seized from the Iraqi army my hind end. Proxy delivery is more like it. Make no mistake - Barry and Val want the Kurds slaughtered.

the main sticker keeping us from helping the kurds are the turks. they know the moment Daesh is gone, the kurds will turn everything on turkey. honestly...I can't blame the kurds in the least.

still, we could easily provide clandestine assistance. something deniable. something like this:

I'm sure the israelis (who, if rumors are to be believed, are already there and training select groups of kurds) can show them how to use them....

Yes we need to help the Kurds, but their vehicles look like they would be more at home with the Jawas from the first Star Wars movie rather than the Road Warrior film.

The Kurds are worthless cowardly opportunists. In '91 they waited until after the US chewed up and spat out 99% of Saddam's army, and the Iraqis, still reeling from the thrashing we gave them, STILL beat the Kurds like they owned them.

Anyone who feels that Kurdistan is a higher priority than taking our own country back and restoring our own Constitution is perfectly free to fly there and pick up a rifle.

All the Middle East put together isn't worth one cent of American taxpayers' money nor one drop of American blood to me. Let the filthy backward savages kill one another, like they've been doing since time out of mind.
