I drew him in a close fight in my last game. Ten of those sixteen models were worth about 900 points. His HQ turned those two wound Paladins into scoring units. My Farseer tied up 5 of those guys for several close combat rounds. Hooray for Fortune.
Impressive. I knew Dave S. when I was in Windsor doing my degree. He deserves the win, he likely earned it. Supprised he took 2 dreadnaughts. Tempts me to stick one in my Astro list for the Toronto one. looks very solid.

This weekend, April 30- May 1, is Astronomi-con Winnipeg 2011. Hard to believe this tournament series has been running now for a decade! There are several players from out of town (Toronto ON, Windsor ON, etc.) plus a slew of locals.
Here's some of the armies that I was able to see during yesterday's proceedings (Day One of the two-day tournament).

Grey Knights, man. Each guy is a hero.

Thanks for posting this, Dave! Some very cool looking forces there.
Greg, I'm thinking you should make-up a fancy display base for your Austrians. (Seeks cover in anticipation of head-explosion...)

Some nice armies. I've been a little behind and out of it for hobbies the last week or two. Issues in the real world...
Good work all who entered a painted army.

Hey Dave, just a correction... The first pic of the Salamanders (2 drop pods /w Ironclad Dreadnaughts) belong to me (Greg), not Lance :P
