I'm actually an east ender; perhaps the "exotic" experience of being on the west side is what made me notice the phenomenon in the first place. Hey, there's another topic for a thesis... or blog post : ) They're so difficult to tell apart these days.
well, fortunately it seems we both keep our blog posts under 300 pages long, so that is a good place to start. :)
and i hear you on traveling to the wild and woolly west: the TGV's got nothing on the TTC for opening up "exotic" new worlds!

[Image] I just happened to like this little scene on St. Clair West. And it made me wonder yet again: Where is the PhD thesis that explores the line between "esthetics" and "aesthetics"? Or the dozens? There's a lot on beauty here, folks. I'm waiting.
On another note, there's a lot of kind of unexpected stores along western St. Clair. One example: St. John Fish Sandwiches and Antiques. Perhaps worth another thesis outing?
