Like the shadows that linger underneath the hard rocks of the rootless lands that lie under the wrath of the wicked sun singing in the naked sky. Your fears are like those shadows my friend....
Like the broken and eroded land under the wrath of the wicked sun singing in the naked sky where the storm water has gushed through and dissappeared leaving deep scars and baring what lies beneath, am I. There are no fears.
Indeed the chase is exciting, but a mate is not like a mountain peak which you conquer and then get down from. It is more like searching the lands for a place where you would like to die(lie) in peace. It's more like a final destination. But I guess the world does not work like this. :) Nothing is final, not even mates. Not love.

Nothing omnious about it. The usual and extremely common story of a chase which ends without catching the wild goose. :)

Like a friend once said,
"It is not the goose but the chase which is the exciting part of the story."
It is not the mountain peak but the way up that is of thrill.
