Canada has given the world a growing number of great adult novelists, from Margaret Atwood to Robertson Davies, but until recently no children’s authors. Oh, really!!? How lovely that the Times has finally noticed the dark civilization of Canada and it's children's lit...
So true, a condescending nod towards the colonies? The Times certainly did not consider three of my favorite Canadian authors, Gordon Korman, Arthur Slade and Chris Humphreys.
