I'm sorry to say that the video does nothing for me. That may be because the video serves different functions for you and I. To me, it is an introduction to a different world. To you, it evokes memories of that world.
In other words, this collection of still frames isn't enough to convey the feelings you wish to express. Perhaps a 360° panoramic shot would do better...
