You are so quotable, I nearly have to paste the entire post in here :) "what a pleasure it is to work with people who want to share what they're working on and talk about it and discuss it because they assume that those around them have something to offer that's of value to their work" -I wish my husband had somebody like you to work with- nobody talks, nobody shares and nobody is professional or excited about their projects. He's an engineer and at heart they're supposed to love their work.
ah, but engineers don't need people, do they? :-) kidding. actually, i'm feeling so appreciative of this fact of working with great people who want to be a team because in my previous job the ones who were the opposite of that were the most prevalent. it created an atmosphere of self-preservation and even an air of fear, rather than one in which one could acknowledge that others might have helpful ideas or even simply just be interested. but, the up side is that it has made me consciously aware that i'm in a very different situation now.

sitting in the airport, waiting to fly home and these are the things crossing my mind:my flight is in 30 minutes and there's still no gatewhy is SAS not obsessively texting me about this?hearing danish spoken near me and feeling the comforting feeling of home(!)
