we always picked our own tree when i was a kid. last year i took the boys on a day like this. oh, i am beginning to regret my decision to stay home this year... and then the year where it seems to actually be a white christmas. bad choice. which btw must have made it so much more wonderful to be out there looking for a tree.

Even when I don't get a tree, I at least get a wreath and put it on the dining room table and decorate it and enjoy the scent of the season!
