Ooh, scrummy! We've only got London gin at the moment, though we are partial to Plymouth gin - you've inspired me to go a bit posher now. (Any excuse for a G&T!)

Life is too short to drink or eat anything that's cheap! LOL!

Thanks for the great gin tips! I'm quite the novice, but have found that I do have a love of Islay single malts....I'll be checking out these gins! My first real foray into gin and tonics was through a friend who served them with her lavender infused gin (from her garden)...glorious! Enjoy!!

Stop using your bath tub and make your own. And use proletariat potatoes. Self-sufficiency right?

I don't know posh from pine needles, but I do know I have been drinking gin for a good long while and I drink Beefeater. But I don't think there is any crown jewel. :) I don't care for smooth gin, if I want smooth I'd drink (cough, cough) vodka. Give me that piney bite!

My son, now 38, had to write a poem when he was in 2nd grade. I remember it well. "My mother is so very thin, that's because she drinks a lot of gin." Try looking at the teacher with a straight face after that little gem.

Comrade,

Everything in the Soviet Union was made with potatoes. Sputnik, that was actually a space potato ... you Yankee Capitalists misspelled its rightful name ... it was Spudnik.
