totally ok to use vodka, i almost wrote that.

and to any hendrick's lovers out there, if you use hendrick's gin, you should substitute cucumber for the lime--i guess you'll have to peel it and blitz it up in the blender.

but

One of the most pleasant G&Ts I ever had was while sitting in the hot Palm Springs sun, next to a swimming pool. Perfect.
