newness always fades.

community is a weird thing, sometimes it's neighbors or family and other times it's a convenience.

back then blogs were new-fangled and it took effort to find people-connections after first writing one's fictions/non-fictions. those connections seemed person to person and writing a blog felt akin to writing letters to friends.

i know you always felt blog writing was therapeutic, i could never develop that sort of trusting.

i look back on some of things i blogged and i'm embarrassed.

(i deleted the blog and some guy in Indonesia or someplace took my name and blog name for his own purposes - google said "sorry, nothing we can do".)

and now

twitter is too much a cliche and facebook, if done smartly, allows globalization while maintaining a degree of anonymity.

that suits me just fine which is part of the reason i only show photos... those photos are me and that's enough personal information for the world wide web.

for me, I think instagram was the real blog killer - I've never been good at writing :) but I do miss the blog community and the kindness in it.

comments are the new black. so be trendy and leave one.

what is, however, not trendy, is if your comment contains an ad or a link to a spam website. those, like white shoes after labor day, will be deleted.
You can use some HTML tags, such as <b>, <i>, <a>
