Beautiful rings to remember your mother, the gold one has a unique antique setting. Over here in the past, some tend to create the wedding rings etc with the person when they move on. Thankfully it is seldom followed now. I have both my mum and dad's wedding rings too, just plain gold bands but precious

very pretty rings, having something like this is comforting I think as is a link with the past owner. But my family didn't believe in keeping momentos, we had to dispose of all belongings when they departed by tradition, so I have nothing of my mothers or grandmothers - it's supposed to be about letting the spirit go and all that. Yes, I am finding other peoples bookcases interesting on the news reports - politicians, actors, etc., surprising how people collect books, I don't have a bookcase and only about 10 books but I do read a lot (library) not a hoarder:) I think it would be wonderful to have a collection of art books to dip into though.
