This is all going through my mind as well. The shift this week is noticing that I thought a good response to recognizing my privilege was to be smaller, take less, leave more for others. However, I"ve been also noticing that this strategy is not making much change, not doing much good in the world - all this impact is just... small. My time facilitating a board meeting for a charity has less impact than donating big pots of money to the food bank, for example. I spoke to someone about Allyship - and she asked me to reframe. Rather than taking less - I have good things happen for me with fewer barriers... so take this, and make a difference by creating more, sharing more, making more/better policies, projects, and including more people Rather than take less.. give more. I'd like to talk aobut it with you if you're open.

what is, however, not trendy, is if your comment contains an ad or a link to a spam website. those, like white shoes after labor day, will be deleted.
