I think I need to paint stones too... I'm constantly on the lookout for balance, and these look very zen if I may use a term inaccurately appropriated by the Western culture continuum :)

Also, I agree about what you said in that other post about physical work being good for the soul.

finding balance, in my humble opinion, is truly one of life's most difficult journeys. in the mind of the creative and pensive person conflicts arise to upset the balance. I believe the goal as stated by some eastern religions is "centering." (L. Ron Hubbard too---) My center has been shaken, almost destroyed in the last few years. Yet, I persevere. Sometimes I am not sure how. My center is my faith, my hope for the future, and a belief that I have choices. Those choices always come back to heart and home, thankfulness and gratitude. When so many responsibilities overwhelm, I compartmentalize, pick one, deal with it, finish it then move to the next. It is amazing how much I can accomplish in 15 minute spurts! Sorry to go on, subject near to my life. I never cease to be amazed how many of us live in parallel thought processes! corinne

"reminding me that it is possible to hold balance, even if only for a moment."

I need to be reminded of that fact more often. Good post. Lovely stones, too.

Exactly what's going through my head these days. How did you know? If balance shows up, will you seem him/her my way?
