Interesting, and what are the plans for this wood?? My hubby just bought a truck and he is wondering why I am buying a new toaster oven. Too funny.....

Oh, I’d be so tempted to hijack a few pieces, split them into smaller, longer, irregular pieces around the knots, sand them down, paint a colourful stripe here and there and varnish them and sign them and sell them at a gallery. (Just saying)

Oh you lucky dawg! A husband who builds things! Nice.
The only thing my loving husband can do as far as being handy is change light bulbs.
Sigh.............go ahead and buy all the fabric you want....
