thank you because - I have thought about this more than once. I thought it might have to do with writing articles and the editing process... who knows what happens when this mind wanders!

p.s. 70 and growing I see - you rock! (oops that goes against the ego thing, doesn't it)

Interesting... I mostly do use capitals, but writing poetry cannot bring myself to place a capital at the start of each line in the traditional way. It just seems to change the character of the poem and the way it is looked upon. I don't have a philosophy to back this up, but because of it I found your post absorbing.

I've never thought about it but I go back and forth between the two - sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. The only times it bothers me is with I/i. Weird huh - is that an ego thing? How Freudian.

I've never thought about you not using capitals. it's interesting how you could see a reason why you chose not too use them.

I always wondered why you didn't use capitalization! I find it a little hard to read your posts without them. But now I know you have a good reason! :^)

I have actually noticed that a while back and I always thought about it as your signature style - no capitals. It's interesting and different and stylish, I wish I thought about that first :-)

Thanks

i like the lower case julie

P.S. I am still posting. Blogger has a problem and my new posts are not being feed to other bloggers' bloglists so it appears as if I am stuck with Florence!

I am feeling very lonely today!

interesting. i find it's harder to use lower case, actually. that it takes more discipline not to capitalize--especially the personal pronoun i, ironically enough. i'll start something in uncaps, because i, oh don't know, want to be cool like julie, and before i know it, the caps sneak in. so what does that say about *my* personality?
