i think that time stretches or contracts in proportion to contentment and peace. there are many days that i enjoy that.

yes, I know what you mean...certain places seem to have more time than others. I hope your new house has it, too.

It seems that lately I've been "buying" time which means things are getting done that should-- but i'm doing the best I can..... Maybe a trip to your SIL would help me get on track ;-)

Gorgeous picture.

Wonderful post! I agree, I've thought about time this weekend too, with Sid's birthday. Time seems to go so fast. I have had times too, when it's lingered so that you can noticeably savor each moment.

The outside stresses do continue, But I know since we've moved to our property those savoring moments happen regularly. Now it's just figuring out how to sustain them. I'm certain you'll find that in your new home!

I would love to go to a place where time slowed down for a bit. Sounds like a dream. Things go to fast here - I had a newborn who is three just yesterday, my daughter is old enough to drive - it just flies. I need a "time stands still" place.

Sounds like the house of your in-laws is a more than lovely house. Wish I had found a place like that.

Have a good start of another busy week.

Have you ever read "Einstein's Dreams"?
It's a small book, easily finished in a day {if there is enough time}.
Sounds like you're on to his theories... :)

Hope time slows for you a bit!
Have a good day!

Sounds like time for vacation? And really, I'm always amazed at how much you fit into the time you have. I've decided I must be one of the slower turtles in the world. Oh well. Slow and steady, etc.
