For one thing, $5000/month is a lot of money to abut the BQE.

But this must be karmic as well - this developer completely
disregarded the street wall on both sides of the building in order to
shoehorn in a few surface parking spots. The architect/developer
basically stuck a thumb in the eye of all their neighbors and every
pedestrian that walks by. No sympathy here.
