Thankyou for considering my opinion and I am very concerned that any action taken in Syria would have serious consequences in the short and long term of relations with all other countries, particularly those of our enemies. However, our allies have also agreed that it would be best to wait for the report of the United Nations. While no sane person supports the use of chemical weapons or any other mass killings, there will only be more deaths if we take action. Even the most precise plans to destroy the chemicals would cause their release and by now they have been moved just as they were in Iraq. Please, VOTE NO on any air strike or other military actions. My question for the President Obama is a simple one: Would we attack Iran, China, North Korea, Russia or any other country with the same information and evidence that we have seen... Knowing that the Syrian deaths are especially sad when we see children dying, it is certain there will be more and possibly severe results if we take military action without strategic planning with the United Nations support ! Thank you for representing us and our opinions.

The U.S. will risk confrontation with Russia and Iran to benefit the Al-Qaeda rebels? And, it is just as likely, if not more, that the rebels used the chemical weapons and not Assad... where's the evidence? Why is this more important to Obama than Benghazi where Americans were killed? Sad.

We shouldn't be involved in another country's civil war. where we risk the lives of our brother's and sisters not yo mention a ton of money that it would take for this engagement which could be better used here.

I ALSO HAVE STRONG RESERVATIONS ABOUT A MILITARY STRIKE. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT MORE INNOCENTS WILL DIE.I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO INFORMATION THAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC DOES NOT. FROM WHAT I AM HEARING IT IS NOT 100% CERTAIN JUST WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE USE OF THE GAS. WE MUST NEVER DO ANYTHING THAT WILL STRENGTHEN THE HAND OF AL QUEDA. i AM PRAYING FOR YOU AND ALL THOSE IN AUTHORITY FOR WISDOM TO LEAD OUR NATION OUT OF THIS MESS.

Kevin this is a worthwhile read; it might help you gain some insight into how to address this matter. I for one agree with this guy and think we are foolish to take military action:
