It is bad enough that the IRS is doing this. However, the NSA is recording all our electronic (telephone and internet) transmissions. The truly sad thing is that the "talking heads" on the news shows are claiming this is alright. They believe the NSA must return to FISA Court to get authorization to actually read the information. It was my understanding that the IRS had rules on how to deal with 501C4 applications also. If one department (IRS) ignores the rules, who is to say another (NSA) will not also.

I agree with Clyde. I don't care if they say n.s.a. phone and email monitering helps. They should only search with reason for suspition. They didn't catch the Boston bombers with this why would I believe and trust them otherwise. I would rather take my chances and keep my liberties promised me in our constitution and bill of rights.
