Thanks Richard! We're really proud of the local talent like Holly and our cool contributors who make Bako buzzzzz! Cheers!

Looking forward to talking BakersfieldLife with Liv and Don.I always save the magazine for last when I get that Saturday's paper. Thanks for writing about their in studio chat tomorrow. We talked about their upcoming visit this morning and got several phone calls.Apparently, Don has quite the fan base!

As for Bakotopia, love the originality that Matt Munoz fosters on those pages.Hope those people who think it's just for the "ink and drink" crowd check it out themselves. You'd be surprised how many parents I know who grab a copy just to keep up with (and attempt to understand) the interests of their kids.

What a shame that Bakersfield Life is only available in the home delivery version. Guess I'll pick one up on one of my visits to Green Frog.

The magazine is not included in single copy sales, only home delivery as an incentive to get folks to subscribe. That may be a decision we revisit one day.

Hate to nitpick but since you brought it up, I'm not sure you are right about that... the top looks the same so what is different?
