Hi Jane, Everything looks so pretty! From the flowers to the napkin rings - just a perfect setting:) It was warmer here in CT but still have lots of snow. It is supposed to be warm again tomorrow so more should melt. Hope you can make it to your hide a way:) Have fun!!!

Beautiful, inviting and cheery table . . . what was for dinner? I bet your family loved it. Yesterday, I put some celery green bits and pieces around the house and today bought 2 bunches of daffodils at t-joe's for $3.00. My attempt to pretend it is spring, too.

Oh Jane, your table is beautiful. I love hydrangeas, and I love EBAY!! DH wishes I didn't love it so much! I'm a lake gal too. We have a summer place on the lake and look forward to spending a weekend there real soon. It was 67 today in my area of the country. Oh I can't wait!! I hope you are able to get away and enjoy a few days at your lake home. This has been a terribly long Winter!

We have finally warmed up here in Colorado. We have had a few days that have reached into the 60's. Girl, I flung the doors and windows wide open! Felt like Spring had arrived! Hehe! But winter isn't over for us and I'm sure that we'll be lighting a fire again soon! Hope you are staying warm and that my note is finding you well, Darlin'!

I had no idea you could purchase the dried hydrangeas on ebay! Wow, you are clever. The dishes are gorgeous! I love the mercury glass too and have waffled back & forth about some of it that I haven't put away yet. Of course, it's really too much out still but I think I'll work on that this weekend.

We've had temps in the 70's all week with bright sunshine. Of course, we will have more cold weather but this has been a lifesaver for me. I have been close to running amok and acting like Freddie Krueger! :-)

I love this table. I love the whites, the silver and I'm excited about the dried hydrangeas. My bush is a baby and there certainly weren't enough blooms to dry this first year.

We have no snow, no ice anywhere. Things are very brown, but this is our 4th day of decent weather and everything is finally melted and almost springlike. I'm just avoiding looking at the forecast!

I see we are shopping at the same
stores and catalogs, Ballard and Pottery Barn being my favorites.
HomeGoods is also a great source.
I loved your table setting, it was very inviting and done with much thought. Love the hydrangeas.
Dried mine and they lost their color. I think you can never have enough tableware (even so I sold and gave lots away recently).
My husband believes I am making room for new things, hmmm, maybe he is right.

Love that tablescape. And you bet your sweet paypal you can order dried hydrangeas on eBay! You crack me up. I had some for years and now its time to reorder since they eventually got a little tired looking since they started dropping petals, but they lasted a long time, so I was pleased. Stay warm!
